Customer terms
Terms of use.
These terms govern purchases and use of Order Document Studio digital products. Product-specific checkout terms and applicable law continue to apply.
Effective July 28, 2026 · CanadaProducts and delivery
Order Document Studio sells downloadable productivity and recordkeeping materials. A product is available for purchase only when its page presents an active checkout. Preview pages, waitlists, and launch notices are not offers to sell.
Paid files are delivered through the checkout provider or the delivery method shown at purchase. Customers are responsible for retaining their order receipt and a secure working copy.
Licence
Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, one purchase grants one named user a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use and duplicate the files for that user’s own internal business operations.
A purchaser may edit working copies and export completed records for legitimate client, project, or internal use. The underlying blank templates, source files, and working masters may not be resold, sublicensed, shared publicly, posted to a template gallery, distributed to unrelated users, or used to create a competing template product.
A team or multi-user licence applies only when the purchased variant expressly identifies that licence.
Professional responsibility
The products are general productivity and recordkeeping aids. They are not legal, safety, engineering, accounting, tax, procurement, compliance, medical, or other professional advice.
Customers remain responsible for verifying facts, calculations, requirements, compatibility, records, approvals, laws, codes, contracts, manufacturer instructions, platform policies, and professional obligations before relying on a completed document.
Compatibility and permitted use
Product pages identify the intended file formats and typical applications. Software, devices, and third-party platforms can change, so customers should test a free edition or sample on their intended workflow before purchase.
- Do not use a product to misrepresent evidence, credentials, inspections, approvals, prices, or compliance.
- Do not remove notices in a way that falsely suggests endorsement or authorship.
- Do not upload confidential or regulated information to a third-party tool unless your organization has approved that use.
Payments, refunds, and subscriptions
One-time digital purchases are charged in the currency shown at checkout. Taxes, receipts, payment processing, and refunds may be administered by the checkout provider acting as merchant of record.
OrderSimple is a separate Shopify application with subscription terms, trial information, and billing approval presented by Shopify. The digital-product refund policy does not replace Shopify’s billing terms.
Our refund policy forms part of these terms.
Intellectual property and availability
Order Document Studio retains all rights in its brands, layouts, template systems, source materials, and original product content except for the limited customer licence above.
We may correct, update, replace, or discontinue a product. Customers who retain their delivered files may continue using them under the licence that accompanied their purchase.
Limit of responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, products are supplied without a guarantee of a particular business result, award, approval, margin, safety outcome, platform ranking, or regulatory result.
Nothing in these terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability may lawfully be limited, aggregate liability relating to a digital-product purchase will not exceed the amount paid for that product.
